How to Find Journals

Finding Journals

  • To access journals, go to ULM Journals and Books by Title.
  • Once there, enter a journal name.
  • Once you have a list of journals, click on a journal title, and you will get an entry like in the image below. The databases names that journal content will be found in and the date range for content will be listed. So if you want to search for an article from 2002, you can click on Academic Search Complete since it provides access to content from this journal for 1998 to present. Note: Some journals like this one have a delay on content. You will see that Curriculum Journal has a delay on content that you can access for 1 year. So for the most current content, you would have to order the article through Interlibrary Loan. Once you click on the database, you should get an option "search within the publication" to search for content within the issue or click on a year. This may differ for other databases, but in Academic Search Complete you can then click on a volume and issue number to view the content within that issue.
